Well a lot of good things happened today. I had like 3 slices of chocolate cake which lead me to the great news.
For a while I have always wanted to write a novel but I always put it of. But today I actually sat down and organised my note. Thus the creation of: my plan, character list and finally a name for my supernatural bad ass book.
So if you ever have writers block like I tend to a lot just have chocolate I am putting it out there chocolate Is the work of gods! And is also the reason most women are just crazy.
I just remembered its my halfway point without stopping. And just wanted to say even though not many people see this, I know for my self that I did it, well almost.
Have a cool week!

I'm singing in the rain.....
The first signs of winter are alway though. But we all have to be prepared so if I was you I would just go out this weekend and stock up on boots and jumpers and an umbrella.
The rain this time of year is unbelievable
And it's like it doesn't stop. British weather is such a tease it stops raining for 20 minutes then starts again just as hard. And when you least expect it too.
But today it was not natural it was rain really hard from the early morning and stopped around 3. No breaks in between just full on rain.
This just goes to show one good thing though I had no college and winter is coming. Wait that's two things. Oh well that's what Mondays are here for to make us do stupid things.
Until next time. Live long and prosper!!

Friday...... Oh how I've missed you!
The week dragged on. The only thing that kept me going Is the happy thought of the weekend and sleep. But this week I can't sleep in I have a law conference that starts at 9 and a party that's finishing really late tonight.
So I'm gonna give you the do's and don't's of time management. Tomorrow.
When I have figured it out for myself. Then I'll let you guys know. But for now it's just basic trial and error.
If you guys have any ideas let me know.
For know let see what happens it Friday. And YOLO right.
Have a great weekend!

I can't.... stay...awake...
I'm soo wiped out I think the adrenaline of it being a new school and the whole flowery facade, has disappeared. It feels like a sugar crash when you are high and happy one second and tired and sleepy the next.
I think college will be the death of me I almost fell asleep trying to write this.
What I suggest is get all your assignments done in the afternoon or evening a hour before you have to sleep, for me that would be at 7. That way you won't be forcing yourself to stay awake and do your homework way past your bed time.
I'm struggling to even keep my eyes open So have a good week guys !!

Rain or Shine...
Let me just start by saying that British weather is the worst and most unpredictable weather ever. If you ever wondered why us Brits are so moody it's because of the god damn weather we envy the rest of the world because their seasons aren't as indecisive as ours.
The only reason I mention this is that even though today was sunny and cool the minute Im walking towards the bus stop the clouds are darkening and when I'm walking home BAM! It starts to rain heavily. You always need to be prepared for all types of weather when you are traveling always take a jacket with a hood or carry a handy umbrella with you.
And If you do live in Britain I know I'm not alone and you feel my pain.
Enjoy your week!! And tell me your worst weather experiences

Does my challenge count...
As you know my challenge is to blog till winter break about the new 'college experience' I am only willing to blog on the week days because that's obviously when I go to college. I won't blog on the weekend but I feel obliged to blog because now it just feels like a ritual that I do before I go to bed- yes I blog right before I go to sleep I hope that makes you all feel so go damn special! So does it count or do you guys want me to be more commuted and become a blogging junkie?
So I came up with an alternative I will blog for 6 days a week and seeing as how Sunday is a day of rest I'll just use that time to do last minute assignments.
You decide really because I doubt there are many of you out there actually reading this so leave a comment if I'm not talking to myself.

Weekend.... Working.... Sunday
There is so not enough time in the week for me to go to school and have enough energy to have a social life. And when the weekends does come, boy does it fly by.
All it feels like is, I get up have breakfast help around the house an then BAM! It's already the evening. And Sunday just feels short. All you do on Sundays is get ready for the school week and clean your room and if your like me try to do that last minute home work assignments.
If only there were more hours in the day. I learnt this thing when if you do it right you gain like a day.
So wake up one hour earlier and start you day from there use that free hour to do all of your work and to tie loose ends, and essentially you would have been able to do more things.
Well try that and see If it works. I tried it for a week it worked but then the clocks changed any ways and I just got back to my normal sleeping routine.
If it work leave a comment if you have any better ideas feel free to share.

Time to Study!
For me it has only been a week since day one and so far I have already had to write an essay for poetry, and another two pointless essay due on Monday. Right now a normal person would be planning and researching- which is what i'd advice you to do. Me on the other hand am still waiting for it to sink in.
.
.
.
.
OMD i have 2 essays to hand in, in less than 4 days.
Don't panic is the first step
Second step is to organise yourself
Which essay is more simple to layout and begin. For me that would be English so just start of simple with a normal essay template with the intro, main body and conclusion. Then find a quiet place and start making notes.
What you use is important too.
http://pbs.twimg.com/media/A2oBaceCEAAnFBK.jpg:large <<<
Im using my phone and its being diffiicult not letting me upload pictures so the link leads you to it
Then try the hardest one last like a history essay which requires a lot more researching and depth. Find a secluded area like your library or your bedroom. Somewhere, where your pesky little friends won't disturb you switch off your mobile and get rid of your laptop, unless you are using it for research and just puts some good old fashion pen to paper.
Personally I really hate essay I always find myself in that " I can talk about it not write about it" positions. For that I suggest write all down all the main topics for the essay and next to it write down what you would say about it. Then get back to the points and then add to it with all the research and depth you need.
Hope it's helped.
Any suggestions leave a comment
If it doesn't make sense tell me I wrote this pretty late. In spirit of my challenge I forced my self to finish today's blog post.

FOOD! Time to munch
What you expect:
College cafeteria
College cafeteria
A variety of different foods the and best quality service
The reality:
Crowed and full of hungry students that don't really care if they knock into you, because to them you are just a means to an end.
Lunch queues and screaming children, i thought i left that life behind but nothing really changes when you decide to go to the college attached to high school. As the older students you don't actually have to eat in the main building we have our own kitchen and the convenient fish and chip shops on the corner.
Today i tried to get this new experience over and done with. It was a right of passage to at least have one meal in the main building.
I tried it. I loathe it. The queues move extremely slow and in all different directions all you can hear is the shrill voices of those immature 'tiny people', on top of all that you have the loud mouth over sized neanderthal directing students to where they need to be.
All i can think about is how much similar this could be to a prison cafeteria, the only difference was the guards were teachers and the warden is this giant, who controls all of us with his hawk like eyes.
That has officially put me of so i suggest that you do what I'm planing to do and PACK YOUR OWN LUNCH.If your cafetirea is as bad as mine just go with it, trust me it saves a lot of time especially when you have an irregular schedule like me so you can eat around it.Just make sure you have an appropriate container you obviously don't want a squashed sandwich.
Make sure you always pack a fruit they are good for energy.

Public transport
Aaaah! People who have taken public transport know where I'm coming from. The smelly seats and sticky bars *shudders* and those "please don't sit with me" moments. I am a very particular person when it come s to crowds I am so claustrophobic and you never know where people have been, but you have to just deal with it because it's a "public" transport.
But I learned some tips and tricks:
• If you put your stuff on the window seat and you sit on the outside usually people won't bother you
•always carry anti-bacterial hand gel with you. Especially during flu seasons lot of flus are contagious I think that should be at the bottom of your list when you have essays and exams to do.
Well my hygiene phobias aside. Public transport has its perks it gets you to places you need to go like school and appointments. A handy advice is to get the bus or train schedule from your nearest bus or train station. But if you live In Birmingham like I do buses usually don't follow their appointed time schedules but they may in the place that you live. By now you should probably estimate the exact the bus arrives so you can plan around it and get to places on time.
Hopefully this has helped anything I've missed out or if you have some tips of your own please feel free to share.

Weekend! Hello sleep :)
Finally friday has come! The weekend is here now the fun begins now, I can finally catch up on my sleep.
The first week is always the hardest you never know what to expect, the important thing is to not fall put of your routine believe me you will regret it come Monday.
Make sure all the topics you have covered you keep going over your brain is more likely to recall on things things better when you review things little and often instead of all at once a week before your exam.
I know I did that for my other exams but this stuff is a bigger work load. I mean imagine cramming for a law and English paper in the same week, you can obviously imagine the stress from that.
But hey we'll see how next week goes. So far have made some friends and now enjoy the fact that the nearest coffee place is 10 minutes away. That's just heaven for caffeine junkies out there.
Till next week.

The Start of Something New...
Day 2...
It sort of feels like the excitement and magic sort of died down. It's not exactly the same as yesterday The fact that I had nothing to do for 3 hours. Which is quite sad. That's how I felt at first but then I had my first official lesson- which was history- and everything seemed ok I learned a lot.
But that's what you would usually expect from something you're not used to. One tip i think you should always keep in mind is to expect the unexpected.
The one thing I didn't expect was the work load so soon.
You never know the next day might hold so it's always good to be prepared.

Day One...
The first day
How I felt...You know what it feels Kind of surreal like you can't actually believe you're here. The day was really interesting. From the tour to the teachers everyone was really nice and welcoming. I can't help but feel that it may or may not be an act based on previous experiences.
Even though I still haven't met my subject teachers I think they all seem fine hopefully the subjects I have chosen aren't that boring and tedious
Based on the teachers teaching.
Thankfully I fit in just fine even though I did get referred to as the "new blood"
As a vampire reference it sort Of made my day.
Well that's Day one over and done with. I think that was the hard part done. Now all I have to do is actually take some lessons and meet the teachers

Results Day
August 23rd
Results day today
Woke up an took a walk just to see more people looking very terrified and nervous I think everyone is thinking the same thought ” please don’t let the last 5 years have been for nothing” that’s what I was thinking anyways.
I had two strangers wish me luck this morning how nice scared teens all brought together by this one life hanging event. If you pass all or most then your future is set but if you fail then you’ll be struggling for the next couple of years.
All in all it wasn’t as bad as it seems. Well now the only big hurdle to face is the first day of college.
Counting Down The Days.
21st August
Not long left now I don’t really know how to feel or what to say
I genuinely feel so unprepared I have some stationary but not all that I need to start a new college I don’t even have a bag yet 2 weeks to go and I don’t even have a bag. This is such a bad sign.
I know everyone has butterflies, but I don’t really plan on making that many friends I am only there to get an education but then again I really can’t help being a nice person to everyone. but right now the butterflies feel like they are multiplying.
But you just can’t help but wonder what if? The college isn’t all that it seems to be or what if? I don’t like it? You really can’t let those thoughts be running through your mind I know but I think everyone feels that way at some point I think that’s the beauty and curse of the ‘what ifs’.
To tell you the truth the only reason I chose not to go to a college that I know everyone is going to is because I don’t want my past to make a big change in my future. There won’t exactly be room for change if I am surrounded by the very people I am trying to get away from.
My friends, my foes all the bad memories that came from seeing all of their faces all of the mistakes I have made I can’t let all those feeling rise to the surface. All I can do for now is keep moving forward and try to forget what has happened and just focus on what will happen. If I try hard enough I might be able to forget it all together. I just have to wait for the storm to end and for all my thoughts to clear up. If the storm passes let see what’s left behind…
The past is the past just live for today.
Anyone Out There? I have a Challenge
August 17
I want to be a writer and when I grow up hopefully and if I can do this than I can do anything else I put my mind to.
Don’t worry the blog posts wont be full of mindless stuff. For all of you who haven't started college or are in your final year of high school I am going to fill you in on all the tips and tricks on how to survive. I hope I’ll be useful to anyone that does end up reading this so fingers crossed.
who knows I might actually help some of you. I know I’m new at this but the internet is a big place I might actually get some comments. Now wouldn't that be great it would make me feel less like I'm talking to myself.
Be as honest as you want on the comments like Frank A. Clark said
“Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a man’s growth without destroying his roots.”
Thanks I hope you enjoy it.
